ABOUT

I was born into a family of collectors. Throughout my life collecting is natural activity for me.  At first it was collecting flowers along the paths my family walked, later it was seashells and crystals along the beach.  Our family enjoyed a diversity of dining experiences, which led to my collecting matchbooks,business cards, and calendars.  There was nothing I came across that once I had three, I was told I had a collection started.  

 

My first apartment was decorated in vintage hand me downs and items I purchased at what were then called second hand shops.  My first house, a three story Victorian, become a home that was lovingly decorated in the Eastlake Victorian style. I planted gardens in the country Victorian style with heirloom plants and shrubs and was careful to include lots of herbs to use in the kitchen.

We have been at out Douglas,Massachussetts location for more than 15 years. We are always looking to buy and sell to those who love antiques as much as we do.

Our Pledge

We want each of you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please call or email any questions prior to committing to purchase an item.  

PAYMENTS

PayPal payments are due within 24 hours of order. Personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks are due within 7 days of your order. Items will be held in "sale pending" status until the expiration of the payment due date; if payment is not received within the designated time frame and request for extension is not approved, the item will be returned to available inventory without notice and will be subject to purchase by others.

SHIPPING,HANDLING, INSURANCE
 
All items are expertly packed and insured. Buyer pays shipping, handling and insurance for initial shipment as well as returns if applicable. 

RETURNS

  1. If you are not pleased with your   purchase, simply contact the shop owner  by email or phone within 3 days of delivery of your item to arrange for its return and a refund of the purchase price, less a restocking fee of $10.00.  

  2. The shop owner will acknowledge your return request within 3 days.

  3. You will ship the item back to the shop within 3 days of the acknowledgement:

    • The item must be returned via the original carrier  in its original packaging, insured (if available) for its purchased price, and must be received in the same condition as when it was shipped to you with the shop's tags and identifying marks intact.

    • We recommend you use delivery tracking and get a delivery receipt.

    • The buyer pays for return shipping and insurance.

  4. After the shop owner verifies the returned item is as originally sent, they must issue a full refund within 3 days. For protection of both the shop owner and buyer, when making a refund via personal check or money order to a buyer, the shop owner is required to send the refund to the buyer in a traceable manner where receipt confirmation can be verified.
